Player First Games is building best-in-class online game experiences for a passionate playerbase. Each member joining our team will have a significant impact on the direction of the game and the growth of the company. As the Combat Designer, you will: 


  • Design and implement core combat systems and mechanics
  • Be responsible for designing fun combat gameplay loops and feel
  • Collaborate with all departments of the development team


  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • A love of making games and working with a team


  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint scripting or equivalent
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience owning significant features from start to finish

 Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing combat loops and mechanics
  • Shipped titles in the game industry
  • 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
