Player First Games is building best-in-class online game experiences for a passionate playerbase. Each member joining our team will have a significant impact on the direction of the game and the growth of the company. As the Combat Designer, you will:
Responsibilities
- Design and implement core combat systems and mechanics
- Be responsible for designing fun combat gameplay loops and feel
- Collaborate with all departments of the development team
Skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- A love of making games and working with a team
Experience
- Experience with Unreal Engine 4 Blueprint scripting or equivalent
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Experience owning significant features from start to finish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience implementing combat loops and mechanics
- Shipped titles in the game industry
- 2-3 years of relevant professional experience
