Player First Games is building best-in-class online game experiences for a passionate playerbase. Each member joining our team will have a significant impact on the direction of the game and growth of the company. As the Senior Gameplay Engineer, you will:
Responsibilities
- Own technical planning, implementation, and delivery of features from conception to completion
- Empower world-class creatives to jointly create unforgettable moments
- Drive a high-quality bar for all code, content, and systems
- Mentor fellow team members
- Provide technical leadership for code architecture, content systems, best practices, and more
Skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Communication and collaboration skills
Experience
- Understanding of common data structures and algorithms
- C++ experience
- Experience owning significant features from start to finish
- 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Deep subject matter expertise in at least one area of game engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Unreal Engine 4 experience
- Shipped titles in the game industry
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Mentorship, leadership, or management experience
