As a UX/UI Designer at Player First Games, you will:

What you will do

  • Build wireframes, prototypes, and presentations as needed for proof of concept and implementation within Figma
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sprint teams consisting of artists, designers, producers, and engineers
  • Produce data-informed UX deliverables that have a clear understanding of menu systems and player journeys
  • Convert UX wireframes into high-fidelity deliverables with additional artifacts using Adobe CC
  • Support lead artists in creating bespoke assets including UI icons, minor cosmetics, and logos with Adobe CC
  • Work closely with engineers and designers to implement game-ready visuals and various assets in UE5
  • Maintain and support our design system, establishing guidelines and best practices across Figma and UE5
  • Ensure all designs align with UX/UI guidelines, business goals, and visual accessibility standards
  • Report to other designers with minimal guidance on balancing UX priorities across multiple agile teams
  • Use appropriate artifacts to present your design and rationale to stakeholders and team members
  • Convert final UI elements into assets with motion design
 

What we are looking for

  • 1-4 years experience designing digital experiences, products, and platforms as a User Experience Designer and/or User Interface Artist
  • Knowledge and experience with working in Unreal Engine 5 and CommonUI
  • Experience with Figma for designing, building design systems, and prototyping 
  • Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite for visual design

 Nice to have

  • Proficiency with motion graphics
  • Knowledge about online player vs player behaviors, trends, and expectations
  • Experience in Unreal Engine's Widget Blueprint and CommonUI
